Becoming a HYPOHH member is easy. You can either fill in the online membership application form (this will be e-mailed directly to HYPOHH) or print the downloadable form out and send it to:

In either case, you will need to send a cheque or postal order in the post made payable to HYPOHH, preferably in Pounds Sterling, to cover the applicable membership fee. At present, our bank is charging us a hefty handling charge for every cheque made out in a currency other than Pounds Sterling and more recently, we have been advised that in some circumstances the bank charges may be greater than the value of the cheque and that therefore the cheque cannot be paid into the HYPOHH account.

Please ask your bank which method of payment they would suggest. It may be possible for them to prepare a cheque for you in Pounds Sterling, although they may charge you a small fee to do so. It is not an ideal situation, but until we have had the chance to explore the logistics and economics of paying online with major credit cards, paying by cheque is probably the easiest short-term solution.
