TV Documentary in planning stage.

Gecko TV is a TV production company with a track record of producing science documentaries. They have been commissioned to produce a documentary on Kallmann syndrome / hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism.

I have met up with the assistant producer and came away impressed with the background research they had already done and their ideas for this programme.

A previous documentary a couple of years ago did not fully address a lot of the issues and I raised this point with them.

They are hoping to produce a more balanced documentary covering as many of the issues as possible.

They have already contacted a couple of leading specialists in the UK who are helping with the content.

They are looking for anybody who has an interest in the documentary to contact them for more information. If anybody would like to e-mail the producer with any questions or suggestions they would be very pleased to hear from you. The company is UK based but this does not stop anybody contributing from outside the UK.

One of their ideas is to try to arrange a meet up in the UK so people with Kallmann syndrome can meet other people with the same condition. The meeting would involve doctors specialising in treating Kallmann syndrome patients and to get up to date with treatments and diagnostic tests.
