Nebido Injection:

Nebido is now available in the UK and in most of mainland Europe.

It is due to be available in the USA by Autumn 2007 after passing stage III of clinical trails and awaiting FDA approval.

It is hoped to be available in Australia / NZ in the near future.

Nebido is an intra-muscular injection that can be taken every 10 to 14 weeks as opposed the more usual 3 or 4 weeks.

The medication has been designed to a steady level of testosterone over the period. The company recommends a normal timing dose of every 12 weeks to maintain sufficient testosterone levels.

It is a 4ml preparation of 1000 mg testosterone undeconate.

It is produced by the Bayer-Schering pharmaceutical company.
